Every text is an interface. Every text is a desert, is a garden, is a cathedral: MAIN THEMES is text, interface, home.
Built on compositions taken from celebrated albums such as TO BE BANNED FROM ROME or MOST BEAUTIFUL DESIGN, MAIN THEMES is a durational live performance without a set access point: every moment can be start or ending, any perspective and entrance or an exit, welcoming
It is intended as site-specific: the perfect space is a wide rectangular room, with 6 speakers, two subwoofers, and three screens scattered around like the stones in a zen garden - impossible to be seen together, compelling a choice between watching the performer, reading the texts, or laying down to wait. But it adapts to other spaces(indoor or outdoor), technical restraints or different durations.
It welcomes any perspective, encouraging a shared creation of meaning.

THIS MEANING TODAY is Bienoise's latest release for Mille Plateaux. This show explores the sonic corpus of the album in an high energy performance played on a virtual instrument ergonomically designed by artificial intelligence. It brings on stage the tiring process of parsing informations, the stress of mind and body grasping for control until overflow and collapse into contemplation.
An unpredictable performance riding the thin line between glitch, metal, footwork and contemporary minimalism.

NONMUSICA is a radio and live dj set show focusing on unintentional compositions: background noises, field recordings, sound design for videogames, movie trailers - everything that is music if we listen to it as such.
True to the belief that "music is in the ear of the listeners", this research aims to develop an opennes to the sonic texture of the world.
Listen to NONMUSICA monthly on RADIO RAHEEM.
For my contemporary dance works, ask Parini Secondo and Jacopo Jenna.
